Zachary Levi, best known for Chuck and more recently Thor: The Dark World, has joined the cast of Heroes Reborn.
Heroes Reborn, a continuation of the 2006-2010 show Heroes, will be 13 episodes long and will be Levi's first major TV show since Chuck finished in 2012.
“There are a few franchises I’ve always wanted to be a part of, and Heroes is one of them. Chuck gave me the opportunity to wield some fun powers, but an entire world with superpowers is a world I’ve always wanted to explore.
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with Tim [Kring], and the awesome team around him, in bringing this to life. Moreover, to be working with NBC again is such a reward in itself, as my bonds and relationships there are deep.”
Aside from having a major role in the reboot, no further details have been announced about his character.
Joining Levi will be Jack Coleman, who reprises his role of Noah Bennett aka HRG, from the original series with more casting announcements expected over the next couple of weeks.
“Jack’s the way in, but I think – and I’m not trying to be coy because we just don’t know – you will see several of the old cast popping in to episodes.”
said Robert Greenblatt, NBC president.
What do you think? Will it be as good as the first two seasons of Heroes or not-so-good like the last two seasons?
