Two hundred years after his shocking creation, Dr. Frankenstein’s creature, Adam, still walks the earth. But when he finds himself in the middle of a war over the fate of humanity, Adam discovers he holds the key that could destroy human kind.
So this is my first review back after a bit of a break and what a letdown. As a fan of the 1931 film, I Frankenstein doesn’t do it any justice.
The story sounds like a fresh retelling on paper, it looks ok, but this movie turns out to be long and winded and not good at all. The co-writer is Kevin Grevioux, who wrote the Underworld trilogy and the first Underworld movie was much better then I Frankenstein.
I Frankenstein is a heavy CG movie and it took away from the film. The action was flat and I didn’t care at all about any of the characters or the story. I thought that “Adam” (Frankenstein’s monster) was too handsome. He had some scares but it’s not what you want to see in a movie with a title like I Frankenstein.
With flat characters, and crappy story and lame CG, I Frankenstein isn’t worth the time. I recommend watching the first Underworld movie or the first Blade movie instead of this let down. Cheers and remember life will never suck as long as there is a GOOD movie to watch and I watch the crappy ones so you don’t have to!
