Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a press junket for George Lucas' newest film Strange Magic, an animated musical/adventure story that is sure to be a fun film for kids. I sat down with George Lucas, Elijah Kelley, Evan Rachel Wood, and Alan Cumming to discuss the movie, and also if any of them have future projects in the works.

When asked about Nightcrawler and the possibility of him returning for X-Men: Age of Apocalypse, Alan Cumming had this to say...

No no, I don't know. Its all speculation and I just really don't know anything about it.
Yeah thats how I felt too...
Yeah thats how I felt too...

X-Men 2 came out in 2003, so it does seem crazy to think that after twelve years Cumming would come back to the franchise. The reason I even asked is because his character showed up, made such a profound impression by almost killing the President, and then just vanished, not appearing in X-Men 3 or any following X-Men films.

But hey...thats what teleporters do, right?

Did you like Alan Cumming's portrayal of Nightcrawler?
