After years of playing the Trailer Park Boys on TV, Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay and Mike Smith decide it is time to create their own network. A place where balls out comedy is the norm, drinking and drugs are not just accepted but encouraged, and people can talk any way they want to talk.
Outrageous, crazy, raunchy and a hell of a funny good time! This is not your Hollywood run of the mill comedy it’s fresh and different. Sure this is going to offend a lot of people with the langue and humor but this is my review and I loved every fucking minute of it! With 76 shits, 79 cocks and 935 fucks, Swearnet is a Guinness Book of World Records holding movie. The cast, as you know consists of Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, Mike Smith, Patrick Roach, Tom Green and Scott ‘Carrot Top’ Thompson, with cameos from John Dunsworth and Sebastian Bach.
Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay Mike Smith and Patrick Roach play characters of them selves (I think) and as always they work awesome together and the chemistry keeps the laughs coming. Some of the dialog is laugh out loud funny, quotable, and unforgettable. Swearnet is well written for the people it’s aimed for… not uptight people. It feels like a commercial for the website but it doesn’t take away for the laughs unlike The Internship.
I loved this movie from start to finish but it should have been put out before the Trailer Park Boys re-lunched because of the end credits. As I said it’s not for everyone but it was for me and it’s a good start to 2015. Cheers and remember life won’t suck as long as there is a good movie to watch.
