(Note: Major SPOILERS may lie below...)

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice may be the main event of Warner Bros and DC's 2016 slate, but for a lot of comic-book fans, their other offering that year is getting more and more exciting by the day. The movie? Suicide Squad.

For those who're already impatient to see 'the Squad hit the big screen, though - this latest news from Latino-Review might well be a complete-and-utter overload of anticipation-inducing information.

The reason? It's a giant pile of plot spoilers - featuring details of cameos, plot twists and - crucially - the identity of the movie's main villain.

Want to know more? Well, then read on...

(Warning: Pretty much everything that comes below is potentially a massive SPOILER for Suicide Squad, and more besides. Read on at your own risk!)

First up, then?

The Movie is Set to Begin With a Bang

And, knowing Deadshot, probably a lot of death.
And, knowing Deadshot, probably a lot of death.

And, specifically, with a confrontation between Will Smith's Deadshot and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. As Latino-Review's source puts it:

"Deadshot and Harley Quinn meet early when Deadshot is assassinating an inmate that is being transported from Arkham. Quinn disrupts the hit when she tries to break Joker out and both are captured and taken to Amanda Waller's prison."

So, we're talking a big action set-piece starring the movie's biggest star and it's most iconic character. So far so plausible.

Next up...

We Meet The Joker in Prison

Which ALWAYS goes well...
Which ALWAYS goes well...

Or rather, reportedly, in Belle Reve Penitentiary - the Suicide Squad's comic-book base of operations. It's to there that Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) apparently has Jared Leto's Joker transferred, so as to keep Harley's head in the game.

In the meantime, though, that seems set to give Leto a chance to channel some of what made Heath Ledger's performance in the role so iconic - the ability to be chillingly creepy while doing very little.

For the first few acts of the movie, at least...

In the meantime...

Captain Boomerang Really Hates Deadshot

I mean, with legitimate reason...
I mean, with legitimate reason...

And, reportedly, not just in the anti-authoritarian, leadership-contesting way he does in the comics. Instead, it sounds as though the pair have some seriously bloody history - Deadshot killed Boomerang's father.

Could that suggest that the Captain Boomerang we'll be seeing in the movie won't, in fact, be the (kind of...out there) version best known to comic-book fans, Digger Harkness - but instead, his son, Owen Mercer, who took up the Captain Boomerang name after his father's death?

The Teams Plan, Though, Involves a Rescue

From...the disco era?
From...the disco era?

Of, specifically, Cara Delevingne's Enchantress, who's apparently being traded by a human trafficking gang as 'bio-weaponry'.

The squad, though, seem set to just kidnap her all over again, and to drag her back to Belle Reve, and an underground high-security area.

Which is Where the Cameos Kick in

Including, it seems, King Shark (above), who will almost certainly not look like an actual shark in the movie.

The other, as-yet-un-announced cameo appearance?

It Seems That Lex Luthor WILL Be Appearing

Looking sharp as usual, presumably...
Looking sharp as usual, presumably...

That's right - from the sounds of it, Jesse Eisenberg's Batman v Superman villain will also be appearing - or at the very least influencing the events of - Suicide Squad.

That shady 'bio-weaponry' deal from before? He's totally the one who was trying to 'purchase' The Enchantress.

He, Though, Isn't the Real Villain

Meet...this guy.
Meet...this guy.

That - reportedly - is actually...Rick Flag. The character - who will begin the movie in a very similar role to his comic-book counterpart, acting as a sort of deputy to/monitor of Amanda Waller - apparently betrays the Squad at the movie's close, with the main villain being...his father, Rick Flag Sr.

He's on the left...
He's on the left...

Which, aside from completely re-writing the background of a character who, historically, was the moral center of the 'Squad, as well as his father, a member of the original war-time Suicide Squad (pictured)...

Each meaner looking than the last...
Each meaner looking than the last... also reportedly the reason Tom Hardy recently dropped out of the role.

That, though, isn't all.

There's Still Time For A Prison Break

And, hopefully, a car chase...
And, hopefully, a car chase...

Which will, apparently, set up a whole host of villains for future DC movies - and give Jared Leto's Joker a chance to finally cut loose (and kill a whole bunch of people).

All of which sounds...plausible - if a little too straightforwardly 'kind of what we're all expecting'. Only time will tell if these rumored spoilers are true, though, so in the meantime...

What do you guys think?

Are these spoilers what we'll see in the final Suicide Squad movie?
