Kingdom Hearts 3 continues to remain illusive in terms of its progress, announcement and release date for the Xbox One and PS4. But naturally, seeing as this series has such a vibrant fan community, they're keeping its spirit alive through an endless series of pages and forums devoted to its existence.

As I find myself just at the end of Kingdom Hearts (about to fight Maleficent's Dragon), I can't wait to experience all of these titles again throughout the year as I build up for KH3. Are you guys in the middle of Kingdom Hearts HD Remix 1.5 or 2.5? Well, with a bit of a nostalgia trip, we can see how players felt as they went to a launch event in Los Angeles, California!

In October 2014, an event was held in The Walt Disney Studios for the release date of the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix game for PS3. The crowd was informed prior to the event that there would be a special guest at the show and they really seemed pumped for the whole day!

What they were unaware of, was that they were going to get so much more than they had thought possible. The Kingdom Hearts producer Shinji Hashimoto was there to introduce the show to the players. He was soon joined on stage by the adorable Yoko Shimomura, the series' musical composer. She played the Dearly Beloved Duet for all those at that event and it must have shed a few tears!

As if that wasn't enough for these beloved fans, they were graced with the presence of the Kingdom Hearts series director, Tetsuya Nomura. All of these people chatted with the crowd, took some selfies and shared their love for the KH franchise. But then, those lucky, lucky people. They got to see some of Kingdom Hearts 3 that no one else has yet witnessed.

I just adore the reaction on the face of the host! He looks just as excited as the rest of them. The fans were treated to a brief demonstration of what we assume some areas of the game looked like, rather than say characters we're not aware of that are in the game. But what we just have now, are the reactions of these people in one great video! If you're a Kingdom Hearts fan, I'm sure you'll love this video!

So what do you think of the event, would you have gone there in a heart beat? Sound off in the comments gamers and let us know what you're in the middle of playing!! As you're aware, I'm just about to finish Kingdom Hearts 1.5 remix ;) Not too long until the release date for the Xbox One and PS4 guys!!
