Welcome comic book lovers, welcome moviegoers to the 36th CRAVE article: Top 5 Comic Book Plots We CRAVE To Become Movies!

Many people for the past year have been worrying (some a little too much) about what comic book characters are going to appear in film. But, how about we rest our character thinking brains and focus on storylines, plots, arcs, etc. After all, we need good plot lines for our characters! So, in this article, I will be listing my own personal top five plot lines, storylines, and so on, that I really CRAVE to see come to life! I would also like to point out that I am indeed a huge fan of Marvel and DC, but that doesn't mean no other comic book company is mentioned or listed in this post. So, if you're into Dark Horse, Image, and so on, stick around because I didn't forget about them!

Anyways, lets send Hulk to space, kill Superman, get a "sixth gun" and begin this list!

Number 5: Judge Dredd vs. Aliens

Published by: Rebellion Developments, Dark Horse Comics

Publication date: December 2002-April 2003

Written by: John Wagner, Andy Diggle

Yes I know, putting this in the list is a bit crazy, but I'm all about craziness! A reason why I put this in my list is to throw you off guard and surprise you (which I'm sure some of you were), but to also bring this to everyone's attention that this is a real thing. And this real thing should be brought to the big screen!

Let's take a moment to just imagine Karl Urban's Judge Dredd fighting off huge hoards of Aliens with his Lawgiver and his super straight face. Talk about a freaking epic movie! Like I said, it is pretty crazy and will probably never be made into a film, but I think film studios would miss a golden opportunity. I think the "Judge Dredd vs. Aliens" movie would really bring in a big audience and would get some serious praise if done right, of course.

As ludicrous and bizarre as it sounds, "Judge Dredd vs. Aliens" would be a freaking awesome cinematic experience and would make for a fun film!

Number 4: Planet Hulk and World War Hulk

Published by: Marvel Comics

Publication date: April 2006-June 2007, July 2007- January 2008

Written by: Greg Park

I know for a fact that this is a huge fan favorite. I also know that quite a few people wanted a solo Hulk movie in Phase 3, but sadly it didn't happen. So, what about Phase 4? What about if Hulk goes absolutely crazy sometime during Phase 3 and is sent to space? Well then we got ourselves the perfect set up for a live action Planet Hulk film for Phase 4. Then after that film, Hulk could return to earth with a vengeance and cause World War Hulk.

There you go, pretty simple (not really), but still, Planet Hulk and World War Hulk are great stories that absolutely deserve to become movies. I have no doubt that sometime in the future Marvel will do them, but for now, we CRAVE them!

Number 3: House of M

Published by: Marvel Comics

Publication date: June-November 2005

Written by: Brain Michael Bendis

"I have a dream that one day, the producers at Marvel Studios and the producers at FOX will be able to sit down together and make a kick-ass movie."

And that kick-ass movie should be: House of M. All I can really say is just read this story, it's just so good it's ridiculous. Some may disagree with that, but we can all agree that it's a pretty good story at least. With a boat load of characters, a side to choose and a story to love, House of M to me is, one of the best Marvel stories to date.

Just imagine seeing a ton of X-Men and a ton of Avengers all in the same movie together. That alone is fantastic, but like I said, the story is to love with an interesting ending and all the characters you want to see on the same screen. Sure, it would be difficult to make this film because of all the back story, but I'm sure Marvel and FOX can pull their heads together to make a successful adaption!

Number 2: Blackest Night

Published by: DC Comics

Publication date: June 2009-May 2010

Written by: Geoff Johns

I don't even know where to start with this! This is a more personal pick for me, but I think people can agree that a film including zombie superheroes and villians, mass death and a freaking zombie Batman, would make for an epic movie. Also, Blackest Night is an amazing story that reveals different layers of heroes like Atom, Flash and Green Lantern, which is good because it wouldn't be a Micheal Bay action and explosion movie, but a movie with actual depth and layers to it's characters.

Even though zombie superheroes and villains is a crazy idea and will probably never be made, DC would really be missing out on an action-packed and in depth movie that would probably bring in some big bucks. I don't care how crazy it seems, but I'm going to march to Warner Bros. headquarters and pitch them this movie because it's to awesome to pass up!

Number 1: Crisis On Infinite Earths

Published by: DC Comics

Publication date: April 1985-March 1986

Written by: Marv Wolfman

The game changer for DC comics and all of comics in general. Crisis On Infinite Earths to me is an awesome storyline with plenty of battles, shocking moments, saddening deaths and all around awesomeness. It does get your brain thinking which some people dislike, but the fact is, Crisis is a huge landmark in all of comics.

Now the reason it is number one is because it's an amazing story like I said, but it would also fit in nicely with the DC Cinematic Universe. I think Crisis could be the Infinity War for DC. What I mean by that is, Infinity War is the "end of the original MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe)" and the start of the "new MCU". For Crisis, it can do the exact same, being the "end of the original DCCU", so the end to Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and so on, and the start of the new. It just all works out nicely and would just be amazing!

Below are some SPOILERS for Crisis On Infinite Earths that could make the movie even better, but if you plan on reading the book (which you should) then I recommend not reading the paragraph below!

In the book Crisis On Infinite Earths, both Flash and Supergirl (the actual characters) die, so seeing that included would be pretty awesome (but sad) and be a huge twist for people who don't know the story. It might actually make me cry if they add that!

Do you agree with me? Do you disagree with me? Will you tell me your top five? I sure hope you will. So, comment your list below, take them polls and follow me for more incredible content!
