Bowling, it’s always fun to get out to your local lanes, especially in the winter, and roll a few frames with your friends. There was a time when Bowling was a lot more popular. Hell they even had local “Bowling For Dollars” TV shows

Man you can find almost anything on youtube. It made me reminisce about those Holy rollers that have been immortalized on film. You know the Bowlers! There’s been some pretty good bowlers on screen and there’s been some “Gutterballs” I have to warn you these guys drop a lot of F balls too.

Yes you can relive the horror of Disco Bowling during an 80’s rape, revenge slasher flick. In this Canadien , not sure what to call it, but someone thought it was funny. Definitely NSFW or bowling alleys!

They're not all strikes, but some beautiful scenes have taken place at the lanes too. Like this clip from another unfortunate bowler from Bill’s country, Vincent Gallo, at least he got to see Christina Ricci Dance. In one of the best independent films ever made. “Buffalo 66”

She’s not the only gal that can handle a ball though, There’s one Super Roller that doesn't get much credit for her part in what I consider a not great but under rated comedy Mystery Men. Janeane Garofalo

Ernie " Big Ern" McKracken showed us all how easy it was to get Munsoned though in this Farrelly Brothers 1996 classic “Kingpin”

I know you don’t think I forgot the guru of the ten pins, the man, the myth. Well Sam Elliot says it better than I ever could

“The Dude” Yes from my other most favorite bowling movie The Big Lebowski

Poor Dude. It just goes to show you there’s always going to be some gutter balls, cue the music.

But the man who would be king among movie bowlers Has got to be none other than King Ralph yup John Goodman!

The Goodman who would be King!

That’s Right as "King Ralph" of England he had a huge bowling alley installed in the Royal palace. Than if you go forward to the past of 1994 Mr. Goodman was called on to portray none other than that prehistoric bowling legend Fred “Twinkletoes” Flinstone !

just keep your eye on the ball Barney boy!

Makes you want to twitch doesn’t it?

No wonder he nailed the part of Walter in the Big Lebowski! So let's go bowl a few frames just not on Shomer Shabbos OK! Thank you Donny.

Some Days you eat the Bar, Some days the bar, well he eats you.
