After reading last week about all the hidden gems that Tumblr users had found in Disney (and Pixar) films, it became pretty obvious that Tumblr users have a pretty deep love and understanding of our favorite animated films.

Take a look through these seven times when Tumblr users really understood how great Disney and Disney Pixar films truly are:

1. When they realized a Toy Story throwaway joke was a lot smarter than it first looked

Marie Antoinette was the Queen of France until 1792 when she was beheaded for the crime of treason during the French Revolution. Such an appropriate name!

By the way, who else thinks Buzz Lightyear dressed up as Mrs. Nesbit was one of the funniest from the whole movie? Take another look:

2. When they saw right to the core of what Ariel was really saying

There's no getting anything passed this Tumblr user!

3. When they revealed Pearl's little secret

I was so unsure about this fact that I had to double check it, but sure enough I found this:

When octopuses reproduce, the male uses a specialized arm called a hectocotylus to transfer spermatophores (packets of sperm) from the terminal organ of the reproductive tract (the cephalopod "penis") into the female's mantle cavity.

We've all learned a little something today, thanks Finding Nemo?

4. When they understood Nani was one of the best Disney characters ever

Seriously though, despite Lilo and Stitch getting sequels and a TV series, I still feel like it was an underrated Disney film, and Nani was an even more under appreciated character, I'm stoked this Tumblr user put into words (and images!) how kick-ass she is.

Real talk though, think about watching Lilo and Stitch this weekend, check out the trailer if you need more reason:

5. When they found the exception to the shocked face

Oh, snap! Caught you looking Mulan.

6. When they knew exactly what Ariel was thinking

Yep, I don't think Melody from The Little Mermaid II has much to worry about with Ariel as her mother, there's not much she can do that her mother hasn't already done before her!

7. When they recognized the most underrated Disney prince of all

So Tumblr already realized how awesome Nani was as a character, but David definitely deserves his own shout out, too. Lilo and Stitch isn't a Disney princess film like Frozen or Sleeping Beauty but that doesn't mean it can't have a prince! David is one of the sweetest and most caring characters of any Disney film.

Which one was your favorite? Tell me below!
