5. Mikey (1992)

Just because audiences had accepted possessed Reagan in The Exorcist decades earlier didn't mean they were ready for a non-supernatural child killer, and pscyho Mikey was banned.

Ruggero Deodato's cannibal shocker caused him a lot of trouble: the director had to prove to authorities that the impalement (pictured above) was not a genuine murder!

Seriously, the sequel makes the original Human Centipede look like The Lego Movie - well, they're both about creators who dare to dream, right? - particularly if you're squeamish about the swift meeting of teeth and hammers...
