Milla Jovovich and husband Paul W.S. Anderson have been working together on Resident Evil films for more than a decade, and their success has led to more and more films. Well, [Resident Evil 6](movie:671270) is going to be dubbed Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, and it's supposed to be the final installation of the series, currently set for an early September release date in 2016.
Milla took to Facebook to announce that it was on the way and not to worry, addressing the fact that it was postponed due to her pregnancy:
I’m really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start filming ‘Resident Evil- The Final Chapter’ in August of this year and I will also be nursing an infant simultaneously.
Production will begin shooting in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa (also where they filmed scenes for [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035), fyi). Not a bad place to be when you're working while also raising an infant!
Just in case you have never seen a picture, THIS is Cape Town...
Jovovich has remained the most marketable figure and character from the franchise, but she'll also be joined again by Wentworth Miller (to reprise his role as Chris Redfield).
Hopefully they can kick as much ass together as they have in the past.
