By day, Tara Strong is a wife and mother of two. By night, she gives life some of the best and most recognizable characters in gaming and animation. Seriously, her list of credits goes on and on (it would take forever to add them all on this post). Her incredible style of voice acting has a serious range, but is still highly recognizable.
You may know her as the voice of the following characters:
Dil Pickles, Rugrats
Tara Strong played Tommy's little brother in The Rugrats series and each of the Rugrats movies. All together she played Dil from 1997 to 2003.
Batgirl, The New Batman Adventures
Strong's first character in Gotham was as Batgirl, whom she started voicing in 1997.
Bubbles, The Powerpuff Girls
Without a doubt the cutest of the Powerpuff Girls, Strong provided the original Bubbles with her signature, high-pitched voice.
Timmy Turner, The Fairly OddParents
One of my childhood favorites, Strong played the ten-year-old Timmy Turner (along with other various characters throughout the series) for a whopping 131 episodes, according to her IMDb page.
Raven, Teen Titans
Everyone's favorite monotone half-demon, half-human Teen Titan really showed off the range in Strong's characters.
Princess Clara and Toot, Drawn Together
In one of her more adult voice acting roles, Strong played both Princess Clara and Toot in the R-rated animated series Drawn Together.
Boh, Spirited Away
No one can forget this cute, yet terrifying, baby from Hayao Miyazaki's film Spirited Away.
Twilight Sparkle, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic
One of Strong's current characters is the ever-fashionable Alicorn, Twilight Sparkle.
Harley Quinn, Batman: Arkham
Strong clearly has a soft spot in her heart for one of her more recent characters, the Joker's lover and biggest fan, Harley Quinn.
While it's clear that Tara is excessively talented in her career, she also knows how to have fun during off hours. Not only does she play the voice of the fan-favorite character Harley Quinn in the Batman: Arkham video game series, but she also likes to cosplay as Mrs. J.
Check out her awesome Harley Quinn cosplay below:
Captioned: "G'night Puddins"
Way to go, Tara! You've successfully pulled off the Harley Quinn look with the voice to match.
And just so we're all up to date, this incredibly talented and gorgeous lady is 41 years old! I'm not even sure how that's physically possible considering I look older than her at 23, but suffice it to say, I am jealous and I would like to know her secrets.
Which of these characters that Tara has voiced is your favorite?
