Now, just when you thought the world's level of Deadpool related-awesomeness had completely maxed out - what with the recent confirmation that Fox would, indeed, be making a Deadpool movie, and Ryan Reynolds would, in fact, be starring in it - the imminent arrival of the Merc with a Mouth's only gone and gotten even more awesome.

The reason? The Deadpool movie's filming location has finally been announced - and it might just open up the possibility of some particularly meta in-movie jokes - or even a plot thread or two.

All because [Deadpool](movie:38663) is heading to Canada - to Vancouver, to be precise - and that means three very important things:

1. Ryan Reynolds Is Heading Back to His Home Town

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, way out on Canada's west coast, Reynolds is surely eager to spend a good chunk of time filming near his family and a horde of old friends.

Something tells me he'll be even more excited about finally playing Deadpool again, true, but even so.

On top of that, though...

2. Things Might Get Weird

After all, Wade Wilson - Deadpool himself - is Canadian in the comics, and there's no reason to believe he won't be in the movie, too.

And that, in turn, means we might get to see a glimpse of one of the weirder moments in Deadpool history (to be honest, it's actually about par for the course, but even so)...

Specifically, that time our Mercenary hero traveled to a reality where Canada and the US were one country.

And, stranger than that - his counterpart was totally sane.

More likely, though...

3. We'll See Some Awesomely Meta Jokes

After all, breaking the fourth wall is pretty much Deadpool's thing - and the combination of his being Canadian, him being played by a Canadian, and the movie being filmed in Canada, more or less guarantees at least one or two gags about that.

Here's hoping it matches up to the hilarity of Deadpool #1000, in which the Canadian government tries to recruit Deadpool to become their equivalent of Captain America...

At which point things get very...Canadian...

And by very Canadian...

...I really do...

...very much...

...mean very Canadian. Even if it does take a giant amount of money...

To make this happen...

Now, add that into the movie as a thirty second throwaway gag, and I'm there with even more bells on than before...

The bottom line, though - even if the on-screen movie has absolutely nothing to do with Canada other than filming location?

I just really want it to arrive already...

What about you guys, though? Already over-excited for Deadpool's arrival? Have a favorite Deadpool comic-book moment you'd like to see in the movie?
