You'd be forgiven for for having some continuity confusion over Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker's epic street racing franchise, The Fast and the Furious. Despite providing relatively simple pleasures (gigantic explosions, car porn and The Rock), the series is actually fairly complicated, narratively speaking. I mean the movies, in their fictional order, take place like this: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 3, 7!
With Furious 7 set to drop on April 3, 2015, I'm in desperate need of a recap. Luckily, the awesome folks at CineFix have produced a high speed tour through every film, and it's not only informative - it's pretty darn hilarious too!
If you're a dedicated fan or a curious newcomer, you need to check this video out. Here's a breakdown:
"Paul falls passionately in love with Vin Diesel." Sorry, Vin's sister. Excuse the Freudian slip.
They Really Do!
I'm convinced this should be the franchise's new tagline. If it's taught me anything, it's that cars really are the ultimate solution to any problem. Relationship troubles? Impress girls by winning a street race. Friend in prison? Break them out in an epic car chase. Hunted down by a ruthless Mexican drug cartel? Err...CARS!
Quite possibly one of the coolest scenes ever, from Fast 5. If you haven't seen it, you are doing yourself a disservice! Watch it below:
The four most important things in life: family, money, women and ridiculous cars. I hope you're listening kids.

Though this may be poking a little fun at the beloved series, I still have an earnest adoration for the ludicrous fun the Fast movies have made their bread and butter. With that said, I cannot wait for Fast 7!
