Adrenaline junkies will be happy to hear that the Mission Impossible 5 release date has been moved up to July 31, 2015! Previously, it was due to come out on Christmas Day later in the year.

I'm sure you're all super excited for the action blockbuster to grace your screens so in the meantime, why not relive Tom Cruise running away from explosions in Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol:

Why is it being released early?

It has been suggested that the shift is due to producers wanting to avoid clashes with the new James Bond film, coming out in November 6, and the greatly anticipated [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](movie:711158) epic, which is released on December 18. The change of date is probably a good idea because that's some seriously stiff competition!

Although there hasn't been much information on the movie, we DO know that we will definitely see the return of Ving Rhames, which is super exciting!

Tom Cruise will also naturally star in the follow-up, alongside Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner.

Are you glad you will be able to see the new [Mission: Impossible 5](movie:373501) five months early?
