Normally, when finding posters like this, I make a game out of it (Guess That Minimalist Movie Poster - Part 1, Part 2), but these are too obvious for the typical Harry Potter fan, so today they get their own rightful spot, paired with some of my favorite quotes, be it silly or serious, from each book. The following posters today are created by Adam Rabalais. Adam has created posters for other movies, such as The Goonies, Léon: The Professional, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

There Won't be a Child in our World Who Doesn't Know his Name...

“You haven't got a letter on yours," George observed. "I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid-we know we're called Gred and Forge.”

My Name is Tom Riddle...

“It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”

Something Wicked This Way Comes...

“I don't go looking for trouble. Trouble usually finds me.”

People Die in This Tournament

“Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory.”

Both Light and Dark Inside Us

“Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike.”

As I Understand It...

“The thing about growing up with Fred and George," said Ginny thoughtfully, "is that you sort of start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve.”

An Old Friend

“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”

I also happened to find another great set of posters immediately after finding Adam's. This time, by Cameron K. Lewis. Cameron has also created illustrations for Star Wars, Breaking Bad, and Jurassic Park.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

“It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.”

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

“Ginny!" said Mr. Weasley, flabbergasted. "Haven't I taught you anything? What have I always told you? Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can't see where it keeps its brain?”

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

“You think the dead we loved truly ever leave us? You think that we don't recall them more clearly in times of great trouble?”

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

“If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.”

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

“Is it true that you shouted at Professor Umbridge?"
"Yes."
"You called her a liar?"
"Yes."
"You told her He Who Must Not Be Named is back?"
"Yes."
"Have a biscuit, Potter.”

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

“It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

“Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

"Always,"
