So, how about that mid-season finale, huh? NO SERIOUSLY IT WAS AMAZING.
*Ahem* If you haven't watched it yet, please go and watch it before you continue reading his article. If you don't heed this warning, that's really your own fault and not mine.
But there's going to be major spoilers for Marvel: [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.](series:722469)!
Now that that's over. Firstly, let's go over the clip that had everyone in knots when it aired:
The clip was so influential and ground-breaking that it was everywhere. Spoilers everywhere. It was a nightmare. But at the same time, it was absolutely amazing. I was massively excited because my favourite character from the first episode had always been Chloe Bennet's character, Skye. And to find out that your favourite character wasn't going to die, but instead received superpowers? That was pretty sweet, I'll admit.
What wasn't so sweet was finding out that it wasn't coming back until March and in its place would be a series based around SHIELD's founder, Agent Carter. Now, that TV show has grown on me but that's another matter entirely and I need to get back on track here.
THEY'VE RELEASED A TEASER PROMO CLIP FOR AGENTS OF SHIELD!!!!
Okay. Yes. There we go. Have a look at it below:
'The one team member they've finally learned to trust now has a devastating secret.'
'There's something very wrong with me.'
They've finally learned to trust Skye despite her originally belonging to Rising Tide, but now she has powers. The fact they describe these as 'a devastating secret' means it isn't common knowledge. Who knows about it? Who doesn't? And Skye thinking there's something wrong with her could suggest so much. Her lack of acceptance of the power she now possesses could be a possibility. Another possibility is that she's having major power control issues. After all, she did almost bring down a tomb onto herself and her friends. Or it could be something going wrong mentally. Her dad isn't exactly the sanest guy, after all, and he has powers.
So guys, what do you think? Vote in the poll, tell me what you think in the comments. Will you be tuning in and looking forward to the mid-season premiere in March? Are you the unexcitable type who doesn't care about what happens in the show? Do you think it's going to be good, bad, or meh? Tell it all to me in the comments!
