With this article I am basically going to cast my first picks for the DC Universe, as they appear in the comics. I understand there will be mixed feelings about some of these, but don't get your panties in a wad just yet.

So let's get to it, shall we...

Superman/Clark Kent

I think personally that Man of Steel was a tremendous movie, and of all the questionable casting choices in that movie, Henry Cavil was absolutely amazing as Superman. Why fix what ain't broke? Cavil is the perfect Superman in my opinion, and really does have that look and Superman-feel to him.

Batman/Bruce Wayne

Although I think Ben Affleck is going to absolutely slay in Batman v Superman, I wanted to come up with someone to play a bit younger Batman. In the little bits and pieces(Star Trek, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Almost Human) I've seen of Karl Urban, he's been terrific. I think he can definitely play a great Batman, as well as a cocky, billionaire philanthropist.

Wonder Woman/Diana Prince

Of all the changes of The New 52, Wonder Woman has been one of my favorites. Granted, she hasn't changed that much. But the sword is a nice touch. I'd love to see her on the big screen as someone who really knows how to fight. Who better to do that than Gina Carano, who happens to be a UFC fighter if I'm not mistaken.

The Flash/Barry Allen

Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the Flash TV show. Grant Gustin has been killing it and don't even get me started on the incredible writers. However, I do believe that the DCTV Universe needs to be separate from the Cinematic Universe for the sake of creative freedoms. With that in mind, I believe Dave Franco would make a great Barry Allen. He looks the part, and he was great in 21 Jump Street.

I know that one was a risky choice, but don't bash me for it. Please. Moving on...

Green Lantern/John Stewart

Okay lets face it, we all want Idris Elba to play John Stewart. That's just it. He was born to play GL.

Green Lantern/Hal Jordan

I've been thinking for quite a while that Bradley Cooper would totally make a great Hal Jordan. He's got that cockiness about him, plus he's awesome in American Sniper, no matter what you think about that movie(it's fantastic by the way).

Aquaman/Arthur Curry

This one's for all you Smallville fans out there. I personally thought Alan Ritchson was great as Aquaman, plus he was pretty cool in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Green Arrow/Oliver Queen

Yes, I know that Stephen Amell is fantastic(that's an understatement) on Arrow, but as I mentioned before I'm(trying, at least) keeping this fan-cast separate from the TV universe. I honestly don't really know who Charlie Hunnam is, but I saw him on someone else's fan cast(sorry for stealing him....not really) and instantly thought Oliver Queen.

Nightwing/Dick Grayson

Nightwing, or rather, Dick Grayson, is one of my favorite DC characters. He is, after all, the former sidekick to(arguably) the greatest superhero ever. He was really enjoyable to play as in Arkham City, and I'm really excited to see him brought to life on both the big and small screens. Ian Somerhalder is probably the last guy a lot of people want to see play Nightwing, however, I can't look at him without seeing the resemblance between the two. He's got the slightly older age, and can definitely rock that Dick Grayson flow.

Red Robin/Tim Drake

Despite many people's thoughts about the New 52, especially Teen Titans, I thought Red Robin was awesome. His suit in particular is so much better than the one he had pre-New 52. I could not stand that earless-batmask. Anyways, from what I saw in the Maze Runner, Dylan O'Brien would be perfect for Tim Drake.

Robin/Damian Wayne

I am not personally a huge fan of the whole Damian Wayne character or his story arc, but either way I think David Mazouz would make a pretty good one. And yes, I know he plays Bruce Wayne on Gotham. However, who better to play Bruce's son then the guy playing him fairly well on TV currently?

Supergirl/Kara Kent/Kara Zor-El

I am pretty excited to see what CBS is going to do with the Supergirl series, however, I would love to see Chloe Grace Moretz play her on the big screen. She's been great in every movie I've seen her in, and she definitely has the look.

Superboy/Conner Kent/Kon-El

This one was pretty easy to cast, given that Dylan Sprayberry played a younger Clark in Man of Steel. Apparently there are rumors that Lex Luther is going to make a clone from Superman and his own DNA in Batman v Superman, making Superboy. Or Bizzaro, I don't remember. Either way, Dyan would make a great Superboy, I'm sure.

Wonder Girl/Cassandra Sandsmark

For those of you who don't know, Cassie Sandsmark is a straight up boss in the New 52. She's one of my favorite parts about the New 52 Teen Titans. If they brought that version of the Titans to the big screen, I would love to see AJ Michalka in the role.

Kid Flash/Bart Allen

I could totally see Miles Teller playing Bart Allen. He's on fire right now. Loved him in Divergent, and he's looking pretttty good for Fantastic Four.

And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for(or not)..........

The Joker

Now, the joy of doing a fan-cast, is that it doesn't matter whether or not an actor is currently(or previously) playing a character in another film franchise. With that said, I would absolutely love to see Tom Hiddleston bring the Joker to life. We've all seen his brilliance as Loki, and he certainly has that evil grin down...

Well that is it for now, thanks for checking it out! Let me know what ya think in the comments below...

So what do you guys think?
