You may think that you know every detail there is to know about Frozen, but do you actually know that much about the actors and actresses that voiced your favorite characters?
Take a look at my top five picks below, but not before taking a moment to relive the winter wonderland extravaganza that was the Frozen movie trailer:
Kristen Bell as Anna
Fun Fact: This wasn't the first time that Kristen Bell was involved with many frozen things. During her time in high school, she actually worked at the TCBY frozen yoghurt chain.
Idina Menzel as Elsa
Fun Fact: Idina Menzel auditioned for the part of Rapunzel in Disney's Tangled. Even though she failed to get the part, a casting director recorded her audition and two years later, they came to her to cast her as Elsa.
Check her out performing 'Let It Go' in the short video below:
Interestingly, Kristen Bell also auditioned for the main role in Tangled and didn't get it either! The part eventually went to Mandy Moore.
Jonathan Groff as Kristoff
Fun Fact: For all you avid Broadway fans out there, you will recognize Jonathan Groff from his commendable performance as Melchior Gabor in the musical Spring Awakening.
He also starred in Glee in the role of Jesse St. James.
Josh Gad as Olaf
Fun Fact: According to Josh Gad, much of Olaf's dialogue in the movie was totally improvised to make the producers laugh. They loved it, so they decided to keep much of it.
He also incredibly overwhelmed when he heard he got the part. In an interview, he said:
I actually screamed like a little girl which then made my own little girl, my two-and-a-half-year-old cry. She didn't understand why daddy was screaming like that.
Santino Fontana as Hans
Fun Fact: Santino Fontana originally auditioned for Kristoff. After the movie was changed, he came back and auditioned for Hans.
Who would have thought!? Have you guys got any more interesting facts to share?
