There is no exact way to put how Katniss Everdeen has made all of her Audience feel. Jennifer Lawrence has done a perfect job as the role of Katniss and I am excited to see her in the next Mocking-jay movie. I'm going to focus on two things in this article, First Katniss Everdeen as a individual character and then the whole controversy of Katniss and Peeta vs Katniss and Gale.

Katniss as a Character

Katniss is a spark. Katniss inspires so many people just by being her, both in the movie and in real life. For those who read the books, like myself, know that Katniss is a strong independent woman. Here are the main reasons Katniss is a inspiration to us all:

Bravery

She risks her own life day in and day out for her family, by going into the forest to hunt and gather. It is a offense to even own a weapon, much less leave the district. If she were ever caught she would have been killed. She also put her name in the hunger games drawing more times, In order to care for her family. Even though her mother tuned her out for most of the time after her father passed. She went into the Hunger games, Volunteered for The Hunger Games, to protect those she loved.

The Spark

Katniss lit a spark, with the help of Cinna, that gave a entire nation (Panem) the courage to stand up and fight. To say that The Hunger Games were nothing but a undesired/unneeded sacrifice. She said what she thought and she hated the capitol. Her love for her family, and her bravery to defend those of Panem without a voice by becoming the Mocking-jay, proves that she is the spark and the flame and the inspiration.

Gale and Katniss (For those Fan-girls/Fan-boys)

Gale and Katniss are a 'Ship' in The Hunger Games series. Some people say...

They are in love. Personally I ship Katniss and Peeta but everyone is entitled to their own Opinion. Being a skeptic here, I'm gonna look at both viewpoints

Gale and Katniss would look great together, they both have a uncanny ability to know what the other is truly thinking because they are so close. However, that isn't always the best thing in a relationship.

Gale is focused on destroying the capitol when Katniss really wants to avoid conflict the best she can. Katniss and Gale could be together, but I still think Peeta and Katniss have a spark that Gale and Katniss just don't have. If Gale and Katniss got into a romance, their friendship would either grow or crash and burn. Most situations like that, crash and burn. Sorry to those who ship these two, but feel free to leave your opinions in the comments.

Peeta and Katniss

Katniss and Peeta have had a spark since book one (or movie one). Some people might say that their love is fake, because it was all the games however some don't see it that way.

Katniss first noticed Peeta in the whole 'Boy With The Bread' scene (and chapter). She was starving, and had nothing to bring home to her family. She felt like a failure, like her hope had run dry. Peeta tossed the bread out to her, after getting hit by his mom, just so she would be able to see hope (and survive). He saved Her life, Prim's life, and Katniss's mother's life with just a simple action. For Katniss, it was hope that everything was going to get better. In the second movie, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, She allows her self to realize her love for Peeta. We all remember that beach scene where she was obviously very passionate for him (Both in the book, and in the movie).

Think what you will about Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Prim, and the rest of the gang but The Hunger Games is one of the best movies that has come out in the past couple of years. Not only does it make their fans crazy, because they want more hunger games, but it leaves a unforgettable spark on society today.

Can you believe that the role of Katniss could have gone to anyone but Jennifer? She is the Perfect Katniss. I've seen her in some other movies and I must say Bravo! The Hanging Tree, is still one of the best songs even if the meaning is a bit dark.

We Love The Hunger Games!
