This is not a theory. Is not a fact. Is a possibility that could be freaking awesome!
So, what we already know about Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens?
That hand falls onto a desert planet, where it is discovered by characters who will be our heroes. One is Daisy Ridley. The other is John Boyega, who is playing someone trying to change his path in life (again, I'm keeping it vague here). They recognize the light saber as a Jedi relic and decide to return it to the proper people.

And continues, but I'm making you read enough for today, so in summary, Luke is hidding. And our heroes have to find him.
But, why is our hero hidding? He already destroyed the empire!
Well, he don't. (It's in the trailer)
And then, is this.
I read -I couldn't find where- Luke became Ultra sensitive to force, so he can't handle all that power.
And, what religion was looking for the most power they can obtain? Siths, of course.
In the Expanded Universe -after a lot of events- Luke became a Sith.
Disney already said that this arc will not take place in the new (or newest new -I don't know-) trilogy, but, could this -kind of- facts lead to this fact? Could Luke in the beginning of the story, not because he wanted to, but imagine all that power inside of one person. In the best case, we will just become insane. I'm rambling, but, If i had all that power, making rocks levitate and seeing the future unwittingly, I think that can kill you too by accident. So, if Luke don't release that power occasionally, we will die. So, if he becomes a Sith, looking for bigger powers to release the more amount of Force, we will survirve.
Until new Force sensitive jedis or siths are trained. And that would lead to the new generation.
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
There are a lot of force sensitive persons in the Star Wars Universe -grey jedis, grey siths, not trained people... -
So, I want to know what do you think.
Please, PLEASE, comment :)
