So if you're like me you would have already heard the good news but incase you have not here it is. Green inferno has been green lighted again for movie theatre release (no pun intended). Why is this good news you might ask? well if you are an Eli Roth fan or have seen Cannibal Holocaust then you know the answer.

So the green inferno is about a group of student activists who travel to the Amazon to save the rain forest and soon discover that they are not alone. I have been waiting for this movie since i first heard it was in production and nothing was more heart breaking than to find out it was. Well Good news every one The wait may be over. Roth has recently stated

“As of right now, all systems are go for the theatrical release,” Roth told Indiewire, in a Sundance interview promoting his Keanu Reeves-starring thriller, Knock Knock.

“Here’s the thing: everyone is working to resolve it. Open Road has been amazing through this entire process. I really love them, they’ve been great. Even with whatever situation Worldview is going through, everyone is working together to find the best, cleanest, most positive resolution and get the film out in the widest release possible.”

But thats not all, he gave a sneak peak of when it might be released

“I think realistically it would be in the August to September range. We wanted to have an announcement at Sundance. Trust me, I check in with the lawyers every day. Everyone is working to resolve it as soon as possible and we have hope to have an announcement within the next couple of weeks for the definite theatrical plan for the film. Everyone’s been so supportive.”

So Hopefully we can all pack up our gear and head back into the amazon coming this August Or September. I will keep updating you all on the progress so be on the look out.
