After the success of [X-Men: Days Of Future Past](movie:203942), 20th Century Fox announced the release date for the Channing Tatum staring Gambit spin off, October 7, 2016. Gambit will be the third spin off, of X-Men, first being Wolverine and second being Ryan Reynolds staring [Deadpool](movie:38663) (February 12, 2016).

While fans are excited for the [X-Men: Apocalypse](movie:1194267), Simon Kinberg spoke on Moria MacTaggert return, "She’s a significant character in the movie,” says Apocalypse writer Simon Kinberg, returning to the franchise after Days of Future Past."

He also said "This movie is the completion of the first arcs of Charles, Eric, Raven, and Hank, who are essentially our main characters,” he explains. “They’re such young actors and young characters, so there’s a lot more story to tell. But as a first phase of their lives, there is this feeling of closure by the end of the movie.”

Also Bryan Singer announced the young actor who will play Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm in upcoming flick. Simon words clearly hints that there could be spin off of fan favorite characters in the upcoming years.

While he also said that it will terminate the first class he also said it will end of "first phase of their lives". We can have spin offs showing that happen to the characters in between the years. Like First Class was set in 1960s, Days of Future Past was set in 1970s and Apocalypse will be in 1980s, what happen to them in the 10 years can be explained in their stand alone. Also First Class didn't had much information about the early lives of Professor X, Magneto and Mystique.

They now have an opportunity to show early lives of Cyclops, Jean and Storm, before they met Charles in 1980s and what happens to them afterwards.

Frankly all this can work if X-Men Apocalypse had a amazing response, as it will not feature any original cast except Wolverine (if he is featured). After the success of Days of Future Past Bryan Singer will return to direct X-Men: Apocalypse, whose shooting begins in April at Montreal. He and team will put more efforts and work harder to make Apocalypse outshine in 2016.
