The North remembers...

Before we go any further I must warn you, for those who haven't read the books, or have only started, below will have MASSIVE SPOILERS for certain character arcs and narratives!

Season 5 of Game of Thrones is nearly upon us. The hysteria has reached boiling point with the recent release of the trailer, yet some fans are still irked about that character omission in Season 4.

I am, of course, talking about Lady Stoneheart, A.K.A. the menacing, vengeful, revived Catelyn Tully.

Her cloak and collar hid the gash his brother’s blade had made, but her face was even worse than he remembered. The flesh had gone pudding soft in the water and turned the color of curdled milk. Half her hair was gone and the rest had turned as white and brittle as a crone’s. Beneath her ravaged scalp, her face was shredded skin and black blood where she had raked herself with her nails. But her eyes were the most terrible thing. Her eyes saw him, and they hated.

Well... prepare to fangirl like never before as IMDb may just have given us a massive spoiler for Season 5 of [Game of Thrones](movie:817617)! The currently untitled episode 10 has a character called 'The Hooded Woman' played by a certain actress... Michelle Freakin' Fairley! Check the link for yourselves here!

Wow, what?
Wow, what?

For those of you who do not know Lady Stoneheart, let me shed some light on this incredible character:

After her murder at the infamous Red Wedding, Catelyn Tully is resurrected three days later by Lord Beric Dondarrion, who gives his life for hers. Catelyn's wounds are only partially healed, leaving her mutilated and without the ability to speak. She becomes consumed with the desire for vengeance over her family's betrayal and murder. She takes the name "Lady Stoneheart" and assumes command of Beric Dondarrion's outlaw band, the Brotherhood Without Banners. This starts an unforgiving, and relentless quest to avenge her family.

Before we get too ahead of ourselves, it is important to remember that IMDb can be edited by members of the public. Who remembers when the internet went mad due to this picture posted by Lena Headey on her Instagram account?...

Cruel, so, so cruel...

But, as an avid Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire fan, I was so excited to see the show's portrayal of Lady Stoneheart. Thus, I was absolutely gutted at the exclusion of her (and Coldhands) in Season 4! So, don't tell me not to fangirl like there's no tomorrow... I can hope... Hopefully Mr. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are planning something special.

Game of Thrones Season 5 is set to air on 8 April 2014, on HBO.
