For many gamers this year, it's not the titles that have been announced like Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain or The Witcher 3 that has them excited, but the secret and hidden from sight titles that publishers and developers are concealing from us. Could this be the year of the likes of Fallout 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2?

Honestly, if the two of those games released in the same year, 2015 would go down in video game history as the year that fan's minds imploded and then exploded. I'd completely lose it anyway! But there are a lot of publishers out there that are concealing their releases for 2015, could Red Dead Redemption 2 see its release date on Xbox One, PS4 and PC this year?

Rockstar & 2K's Red Dead Redemption 2

So 2K have come out and announced some of their releases and projects for the year ahead. As will come to no surprise to many of you, we're seeing instalments in both the NBA (oh...yay) and WWE 2K (oh...very yay) franchises. However, we're also getting to see Borderlands 3 hit NextGen consoles with actual graphical improvements. That means that the Xbox One and PS4 are seeing Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel as well as Borderlands 3 get a release date this year. Dayum.

We were also told that fans would be graced with some fresh new IPs (love me so new games) but also some yet to be announced titles from popular franchises. Now of course this could mean a series of different games that are getting a release date here, not just John Marston's Red Dead Redemption.

We could see another XCOM, Spec Ops: The Line, Bioshock, Max Payne, Manhunt, Midnight Club, L.A. Noire or Bully. That kind of just descends into a list of potential Rockstar titles but we still don't know what this developer has in store for us this year! Personally, I wouldn't say no to any of these games getting another instalment (except Midnight Club).

But seeing as Red Dead Redemption was such an enormous hit, I can't see that no pressure was placed upon Rockstar and 2K to make a return to this landscape. Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Revolver had approximately a slighter shorter gap between them then we are currently experiencing now since RDR hit our shelves in 2009. I can seriously see it making a come back this year!

So, with all of these potential franchises possibly getting a new sequel release date in 2015 for Xbox One and PS4, which one would you like to see make a return this year? Let us know in the comments gamers!

Which of these would you most like to see?
