Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have your very own Millennium Falcon?

Of course you have. We all have. It's as essential a part of childhood as teething and first love. It's a big part of what makes us, us. After all, for Star Wars fans, real-life jetpacks would be cool and all (Realistic Boba Fett costumes!) but an actual Millennium Falcon? That's a whole other level...

What, then, if I were to tell you that not only does a real life, actual, factual, legitimately flying version of the Millennium Falcon not only exists, but has also actually been captured on film?

Because YES, THAT ACTUALLY IS A THING.

Lay-jedis and Gentle-sith, I Give You...A Real-life Millennium Falcon

Yup, that's right - your eyes are not deceiving you. That is, in actual fact, a real-life, flying (well, hovering) Millennium Falcon, and yes, I am currently still massively over-excited that this now exists.

Recently posted to Youtube by user Oliver C, the video features a Falcon built from a radio-controlled quadcopter, with added LED lights to give the impression that any minute now the hyperdrive'll kick in...

The best part, though?

It's made from a quadcopter. Which - since they're now ridiculously inexpensive - means it's entirely possible for you to make your own.

Oh, and also, this is a thing...

THE MILLENNIUM FALCON TOTALLY JUST WENT BACK TO HOTH.

I honestly cannot describe how much I want one of these now...

Nicely played, Oliver C. Nicely played...

What do you guys think, though? Come across any other epic real-life movie spaceships? Or, for that matter, anything Star Wars related and awesome?
