Mighty Ducks was one of the many feel good movies of our generation. It arrived during the golden era of children's sports movies in the 90's and quickly made its way to the top of the list. This was probably one of a kind movie because it was the first time that a children's movie was based on the game of ice hockey. There were many children's sports movies based on various games such as Rookie of the year(1994),The Sandlot(1993),Little Giants(1994) but none of those movies were based on ice hockey. They sure were great movies but none of them could match the success of The Mighty Duck franchise and the devoted/cult following that MD had.It without a doubt left it's mark on the popular sport's culture and pop culture landscapes.Even after 22 years it is still considered by many as one the greatest kids movie of all time. The concept that it brought with itself is still hard to match to this day let alone rebooting the franchise which is what the standard operating procedure of most of the Hollywood producers/directors has been recently. The story line was nothing new but the way it was portrayed was just epic. The casts and crew members of this franchise sure did put in a lot of effort to make this one of the greatest movies of all time.

Let's take a ride down the memory lane and see how and what are the cast of The Mighty Ducks doing/look now.

Emilio Estevez

Then:He played the self centered lawyer Gordon Bombay who happened to be good at hockey and subsequently turned a bunch of rag tag youth hockey team into one of the most respected and elite teams of all time.

Now:He has had a stable career in the movie business and even appeared in the famous tv series Two and a Half Man.He is currently filming for"The Public" which still in production and due to release in 2015-2016.

Joshua Jackson

Then:He played as Charlie Conway the only logical kid in the team and captained his side to the ultimate victory. He sure was the heart throb of many girls of the 90's era and was even termed as one the rising star in the 90's.He was even chosen as one of the teen people magazine's "21 Hottest Stars Under 21".

Now:Joshua has a successful career since then and appeared in many movies and TV series such as Fringe,The Affair etc.He is currently filming for "Sky" which is slated to be released in 2016.

Marguerite Moreau

Then:She played the role of Connie and portrayed it well enough to have a decent fan following. She was one the two female team members of the team.

Now:Aged 37 she is still a stunner and has been leading a happy married life. She sure did leave her footprint the movie industry by starring various movies such as Queen of The Damned,Wet Hot American Summer. She is currently filming for various films and sure isn't retiring from the movie business soon.

Now:Yes, it's true: This is what Shaun Weiss looks like today. He's dropped a lot of weight since his child star days. Still, he seemed to peak during his "Mighty Ducks" days. His acting roles have been sporadic, but his résumé includes an arc on "Freaks and Geeks" and a number of commercials.

In 2013, Shaun made headlines after allegedly punching his ex-girlfriend Sonja Dimitrievska in the face and trying to pee on her. Sonja claims that Shaun had been abusive throughout their two-year relationship and has since gotten a restraining order against him.

The Mighty Ducks franchise has etched it self as one of the greatest sports movie of all time, although the critics might disagree upon that but there is no doubt that the MD trilogy will always be remembered fondly by all of us!!
