Star Wars. Six installments over 30 years, millions upon millions of fans, countless theories, books, fan-boys, and the oh so funny spin off's many people have done in between those years.

I'll admit it wasn't always so glamours for Star Wars fans, the feud with Trekkies, Star Trek fans for the ones that don't know the lingo, cold wars between fans of the Wars itself, the prequels. But now that a new version, Disney owned and operated mind you, is being released in 314 days, 18 hours 38 minutes and roughly 56 seconds. December 18th is the exact date if you don't feel like counting down 314 days to December. An early winter present, (prefer the nondenominational route to explaining things).

This new installment of the best looking movies around with the not so good looking fans... sorry, is set to arrive with a bang, knocking almost every other movie out of the water. Director J.J. Abrams is the mastermind behind the movie, also directing his fair share of movies including, but not limited to, the newest Star Trek Movies... yay! (sarcasm). I believe we can trust him not to mess the whole thing up, hopefully not to many screen flares, and do a stellar job! The cast is looking good besides the main cast, I haven't really seen them in anything so I have no idea how good or bad they'll be. Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill is set to come back as well, reprising their old characters and showing the younglings a thing or two.

It's a funny thing if you think about it, but Disney is kind of fighting against itself right now with two major blockbusters coming out, Avengers age of Ultron and Star Wars the force awakens. Undeniably Disney will receive a shit ton of movies and more than it's fair share of trophies and golden globes or oscars or whatever they call it. Honestly... I'm just happy that I get to see all of these fantastic movies coming out this year and you should be too!

Star wars has been and always will be a big part of my life, hopefully one day I can show them to my children and their children and so on so forth. It's brought me closer with my brother even though we are more than 15 years apart in age, and we have grown closer together when watching it. Star Wars was the very first movie I ever saw and it opened my imagination to possibilities as far as the eye can see and beyond! Star Wars is a great cultural and spiritual movie and you have to see it this year, and if you haven't seen the previous ones then I suggest that you do.

May the Force be with you.
