After a couple of slight live-action misfires on the small screen involving his co-creation Painkiller Jane in the past decade, Jimmy Palmiotti has been telling anyone who will listen how he couldn't be happier that he landed the "Twisted Twins", Jen and Sylvia Soska, to direct the upcoming "Painkiller Jane" big-screen film.

Palmiotti says the increasingly prolific pair bring the "atmosphere and energy" that he is looking for - and Sylvia Soska says she is excited about the opportunity.

"I'm the kind of person that goes into a movie hoping to come out different from how I went in", says Sylvia Soska. "Jen and I love films and filmmaking - I think that's the only way to approach being in this industry."

"Being involved in a film like 'Painkiller Jane', making a big screen adaptation of a female comic book character and doing it at a time we aren't seeing enough of these movies with a female lead, is a dream come true", Sylvia Soska continued. "When I left the theater being totally changed from seeing 'Batman Returns', I would have never thought I'd be given the same kind of opportunity years later."
