Netflix recently updated their queue for Marvel's Daredevil show to TV-MA, and the rating is described as:
"This program is specifically designed to be viewed by adults and therefore may be unsuitable for children under 17. This program may contain one or more of the following: crude indecent language (L), explicit sexual activity (S), or graphic violence (V)."
That puts this show on par with all of the other original content shows on Netflix, and this will be the darkest live-action content that Marvel has put out up to this point.
This is actually really exciting news, because a character like Daredevil is supposed to be a dark, gritty character and he is supposed to dole out street level justice. Looks like we will finally be getting a true to form Daredevil, and hopefully it lives up to the hype.
Daredevil, along with all 13 episodes, will premiere on Netflix on April 10th, and it will star Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Vincent D’Onofrio (WilsonFisk), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsley), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Scott Glenn (Stick), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Toby Leonard Moore (Wesley), Vondie Curtis Hall (Ben Urich) and Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Marianna).
