Reporter is Reporting and it seems to beconfirmed
that Spider Man is joining the Marvel CinematicUniverse
. Films in the current Phase 3 slate of Marvel films are reportedly being Re-arranged to fit a Spider-Man SOLO FILM. No confirmation on Sony's future plans in regard to Sinister Six, Venom, films etc., but a deal was reportedly struck between Sony and Disney that the next Spider-Man film will be produced by both Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal. It is a joint venture, released by SONY that will reportedly still give Sony final say and creative control over the character, however, the film will be inCanon
with the Marvel CinematicUniverse
. This being said, it appears to be a REBOOT that will cancel out the Andrew Garfield Spider Man series, although this is NOT confirmed. This is NOT confirmed as Spider-Man's first appearance, just his first Solo film. There are NO CURRENT REPORTS that Spidey will be appearing in any other films. No reports on the continuation of the current Sony Storylines. Reports are out there saying that the Release dates of THOR: RAGNAROK, BLACK PANTHER, CAPTAIN MARVEL, & INHUMANS release dates have all been shuffled around to fit Spider-Man's currently reported release date of July 28th, 2017. Thor 3 will now be released on November 3rd, 2017. Black Panther will now be released July 6th, 2018 AFTER Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 still holding it's release date on May 4th, 2018. Captain Marvel, after that, will now be released November 2nd, 2018. Avengers: Infinity War part 2 still holding May 3rd, 2019. Most shocking of all, Inhumans will be released AFTER The Infinity war is apparently OVER, while still currently holding it's status as a PHASE 3 film. No word on how this will affect the STORYLINES of these films, or if they planned for it already. There are no reported changes to Captain America: Civil War, Dr. Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
Thoughts? Complaints? Comments? I have a few. How will this affect the story? Why are we getting Inhumans so late? Does Thor deserved to get bumped to November?
