I have a theory as to the identity of a character in the Star Wars 7 movie coming out this December. The character in question is most likely portrayed by Max von Sydow (The Exorcist, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close). He is supposedly an old cyborg who Daisy Ridley's character, Rey, works for on the desert planet (which may or may not be Tatooine) depicted many times in the trailer. I believe that this character may have been introduced into the Star Wars universe all ready. I believe that Max von Sydow is playing an older version of a Star Wars Rebels character, specifically I think he is playing an older Ezra Bridger.

Rumors have said that von Sydow's character is an old rebel veteran. Ezra Bridger was one of the first rebels of the alliance. He would be incredibly old by the time that the seventh episode takes place.

Also supposedly Star Wars Rebels is supposed to be canon. It would be connectable to the original trilogy and the sequel and prequels as well. There is another potential connection between characters in Rebels and Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens. This was addressed in the article by Making Star This connection says that John Boyega's renegade stormtrooper, Finn, may be related to Zare Leonis, a black stormtrooper cadet who helps Ezra and the other rebels in several episodes on the tv series.

I know there is no proof or details that would back up my outlandish Star Wars 7 theory, but i just thought for my first article I could share this random theory I thought of.

Let me know your thoughts in the comments and or the poll and may the force be with you.

Is this an outlandish theory or do you think I might be on to something?
