Yes Spidey, with every bit of good news, there are bound to be some bad news tied along somehow. Let's get the lame stuff out of the way first and start with the...
1. Garfield and Co. are out.
Yeah, in case you haven't heard, it's nearly confirmed that Andrew Garfield is out of the picture, along with every actor tied along in that "Amazing" Sony universe, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, and the rest of them. So, since Marvel is starting anew we can assume their Spider will be a Peter Parker to start with and not a Miles Morales (Sorry #donaldgloverforspiderman believers, maybe next time).
2. Yet another origin story....
With this new Parker, will most likely come, another Dead Uncle Ben scene, another responsibility speech, another dead Gwen scene, another Green goblin, and so on and so forth .A lot of these things we've seen twice now on the big screen, and are bound to see again a third time.
Well, Now that that's over let's talk about the great stuff that i'm stoked about.
1. Spider-Man is now an Avenger, and in better Creative hands
Yes, what every little fan boy and girl have wanted since the beginning of the cinematic universe, is for the web-head to somehow be apart of it all, to swing from building to building with Iron Man and Thor. Now that dream is a reality, it seems he'll debut in Cap's Civil War film, who knows for how long it'll be or if he'll be in costume or not. Then he's got his own film with Sony, still tied to said universe in July of 2017 (Gee, only 2 1/2 years? Oh Boy!), also Disney will include some of their creative say in the film. Oh and that reminds me of another pro...
2. Sony and Disney can share each other's characters!
Guys, this means so much. Like SO MUCH! Now any Avenger can stop by in Spider-Man's movie. Imagine all the possibilities, Captain America or Nick Fury having a scene with the web-head. That thought alone gets my inner nerd going nuts. Also, this means that Spider-Man related characters can now show up in other character's movies. Could you imagine a scene in some Iron man movie where Norman Osborne steals Rhodey's Iron Patriot armor. (Dark Avengers anybody?)
