Earlier today, I had an epiphany
You know how Drew Goddard is one of the writers for Marvel's [Daredevil](movie:47230) on Netflix, Right? You also know how he's directing Sinister Six for the Big Screen, Too, Right?
Well, I just realized something.
Remember the movie "Cabin In the Woods" that released a couple years ago?
That's right. that movie sprung up to mind earlier today when I was thinking about Spidey's introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
As you know, Drew Goddard directed and wrote the film alongside Joss Whedon.
The man who would be his future colleague as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Considering his relationship with Whedon, I strongly feel that the Netflix Original Series Marvel's Daredevil is secretly Drew Goddard's way of testing the waters for the Sinister Six movie as I think The Sinister Six movie will eventually be Drew Goddard's way of being the opposite counterpart to The Avengers movies that Joss Whedon began.
That is why I strongly think that the [Sinister Six](movie:1274281) should be introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Supervillain Counterpart to The Avengers.
Unlike how the movie was going to only involve Spider-Man, this film should be where Hulk should be integrated alongside Spider-Man, where they would be the opposites to the villains The Avengers are against in Avengers 1, 2 and 3(Part 1 and 2). Most of the Avengers movies had [The Avengers](movie:9040) fighting against 1 Villain (Meaning 6 heroes against 1 Villain), so I strongly think for a movie of this scale to happen, it would have to be six Villains against at least two Heroes.
So essentially the movie would be a Hulk/Spider-Man Team Up like in the comics with Marvel Team up and the original Introduction of the Sinister Six. But, that doesn't mean that Spidey and Hulk would be the main characters, no. It would essentially bill The Sinister Six as the Main Characters with the Hulk and Spidey as essentially the 2 heroes as part of the already established 6 Villains V.S 2 heroes storyline.
Also, In order for this movie to succeed, they must overcome the issues that came with the original draft for the film, and because this movie is now going to be apart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, They should be smart enough to push the Sinister Six to come out as the big finale to Phase 4 where six Villains team up to get revenge on the Marvel heroes, most notably Spidey and Hulk. Where would I most likely see the movie on the road map? at least in 2022 where we've at least had the third MCU Spidey film come out and we've at least had a long enough time to get to know Spidey's Villains and their motives in each and every film.
This film should focus on having the Kingpin Recruit the Sinister Six like in the comics, as he Is going to be soon apart of the MCU in Marvel's Daredevil On Netflix unlike in the original draft for the film where he would not be involved at all.
Lastly, I would like to explain why I hope the Sinister Six should be the Anti-Avengers (Meaning the avengers for super-villains, but without the constant recruiting of members).
When I had the Epiphany earlier today, I thought of how Phase 4 and beyond could potentially focus on younger heroes such as Spider-Man and Maybe others as the majority of Younger "Hometown" heroes like Spider-Man and Ms. Marvel tend to, the majority of the time, fight off criminals of their hometown's part of the criminal underworld.
I thought, since I had the feeling Phase 4 and beyond would be about the Middle Ground between The Superheroes without identities who are apart of The Avengers, and Street-Level heroes who are apart of the Avengers, "Hometown" Heroes who mostly have their superhuman lives in their "Hometown", but are also apart of The Avengers for when The Avengers need the "Hometown" heroes the most, that, The Sinister Six should be introduced into the MCU towards the end of Phase 4 as the Villains Counterpart to the Avengers.
This is why I voiced the opinions above about the Sinister Six in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to the big news announced yesterday.
They should be apart of the MCU, don't you think? It sounds awesome to have Drew Goddard working with the amazing team at Marvel Studios that includes Kevin Feige and the incredible CGI FX Team at Industrial Light and Magic, don't you think?
