It's been a few weeks since the next live-action Disney Princess role was officially announced to be Emma Watson playing Belle in Beauty and the Beast. Luckily, all it took is a few weeks for these artists to use their skills, digital or otherwise, to create some awesome pieces showing Watson as Belle.

I'm sure that over the next year or so we will be seeing a lot more works like these, but here are a few artists whose talents are already garnering some attention.

Last night whilst browsing around Imgur I stumbled upon this lovely work by xChasingPavementsx showing Emma Watson donning Belle's iconic dress but this time with her hair down. The artist used Copic and Chartpak AD markers.

Here's another piece of Emma as Belle by Gabriel Marques both in progress and the finished illustration. I love the pastel tones he added to the highlights in her hair and the subtle color of her cheeks.

This photoshopped fan art by Saras-Scrapbook also includes the Beast, rose, and is that Lumiere on the right? I've got to hand it to her, Emma looks fantastic in this color.

This one was done by the awesome StephLew who is known mostly for her soft, pinup-esque style of digital painting.

Disney's [Beauty and the Beast](movie:362071) is currently scheduled for a 2016 release date.

What do you guys think of Emma in the role as Belle? I think it's safe to say that she looks stunning in the role already. Hopefully she can pull off the singing and dancing!
