Boromir, son of Denethor II was one of the most noble characters in the Lord of the Rings. It's plain to see in the narrative and in LotR zealots conversations all over the world.
Yes there may have been that little incident with Frodo and the ring and his sheer eagerness to get his hands on "Isildur's Bane" and lay waste to the enemies of Gondor at the beginning of the Fellowship's journey, but if you had the immense pressure from a father who was slowly losing his mind to a throne that he is merely keeping warm, you'd be a tad jumpy too!
Anyway, I digress. Imgur user Vafthruthnir came across a marvelous retort to a Tumblr post denouncing Boromir as the legend he is. Check it out...
Quite apt I may say.
What do you guys think?
Boromir: Hero or just trying to amend for looking like a bit of an idiot in the end?
