This movie from start to finish was wonderful, Colin Firth is at his finest. Samuel L. Jackson is remarkable and funny as Valentine(the villain) in this movie. The young actor Taron Egerton has some great acting chops.

The movie opens up with Harry on a mission in the middle east, the men are about to be blown up by a grenade until one of the men jumps on it and saves their lives. The man was Egsy(Taron Egerton) father, he is given his dads medal of valor. Flash forward a couple of years and we see Egsy as a young man, who apparently has fallen with the wrong crowd and his mum has remarried to some thug. Egsy gets into trouble but then is recruited by Harry to train and become a Kingsman. The movie itself has a lot of action and is very fast paced, if you are into spy movies, this one is for you. It has a unique twist on it and its loosely based off the comic The Secret Service written by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons.

The runtime of this movie is 2h and 5mins, I give this movie an 8.5 because I feel as though Michael Caine's betrayal(he played Arthur) wasn't really necessary. This movie deserves a sequel which I hope happens in the future.
