Bryan Singer took to his Instagram account to reveal an interesting piece of production art on the new film, which has been flying under the radar as of late. I guess that happens when Marvel nabs Spider-Man and DC nabs an all star cast for [Suicide Squad](movie:2283363). Take a look at the art below:

This is... interesting, to say the least. From the image, it seems like a figure (perhaps Apocalypse) has discovered "Ship," the alien spacecraft discovered by En Sabah Nur and used as his base for operations, throughout history. Now that I think about it, that most definitely seems like En Sabah Nur, aka Apocalypse, gazing up at his new home. Interestingly enough, the ship also ends up housing the X-Men at one point and ends up having ties to Cable's origin.

Cable is the future son of Cyclops and a clone of Jean Grey, and he was made to take down Apocalypse. Now, the interesting thing about including Ship in the film is that Cable actually uses Ship to travel through time in the comics. This would also be a way to include Magneto in the film (who Patrick Stewart said would appear in the film). It is quite possible that Magneto tracks down Cable and sends him back to the 80's to help take on Apocalypse, since he was essentially created for that purpose. This is all speculation, but an X-Force film has been rumored for a while, so it would make sense to introduce a character like Cable in this film. Also, I am eagerly awaiting the [Deadpool](movie:38663)/Cable team-up.

[X-Men: Apocalypse](movie:1194267) will be released on May 27th of next year, and will mostly focus on the newer X-Men cast along with wolverine.
