Self-professed horror addict Rob Zombie - the brilliantly disturbed mind that brought you such gory cult classics as House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects - is back and this time he wants you to pay for your traumatic experience in advance.

The musician-turned-director recently succeeded at crowd-funding his latest and most gruesome pet project, the mysteriously titled 31. However, despite him now having the money he needs, Zombie has re-opened donations due to voracious demand.

"The most F'd up film of the year"

Zombie writes:

After wrapping up our first campaign we were bombarded with late requests to be part of the 31 action. So here we go again! Time to join the bloody clown mayhem! Filming starts in March so get ready for tons of exciting updates on what promises to be the most fuck ed up film of the year.

Well, I for one cannot wait. The highly original director is always one to surprise, known for eccentric characters, colorful dialogue, and ruthless violence. This is one filmmaker I'm willing to put my money behind!

What can we expect?

Details are relatively scarce at the moment as filming is yet to begin. However, we do know that 31 tells:

the story of five random people kidnapped on the five days leading up to Halloween and held hostage in a place called Murder World. While trapped inside this man-made Hell they must fight to survive playing the most violent game known to man... a game called 31.

So it's Saw meets American Horror Story? Rob Zombie also posted a video of the team scouting for appropriately frightening locations. You can check that out below:

Don't forget, even if you've already funded the project, brand new and exclusive backer rewards are up for grabs - you can check those out HERE.

Make sure you donate. More money = more blood!

Will you be funding '31'?
