Series, Books, Movies.... IT TAKES OVER MY LIFE!!! (but I love it

So, we all watch tons and tons of TV-series. A lot of people do this online or on Netflix. But don't you just hate it when a series is cancelled while it's actually still up and running? Yeah, me too. Here is a short list of series that ended but totally shouldn't have!

Lie To Me:

What did you just say?

Lie To Me premiered on FOX on January 21st of 2009 and gave us a look inside the lives of the world's best psychologists in the world. Dr. Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) is an expert on behavioral science and specializes in dectecting lies trough micro-expressions in the human face. He founded the Lightman Group together with his partner and best friend Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams) and hired a few people to join the team. Eli Loker (Brendan Hines) and Ria Torres (Monica Raymund) being the most important ones. The Lightman Group helps the police, FBI, Bussinessmen, couples and so on, to discover the truth about every case.

Why was it cancelled?

Lie To Me consists of 3 seasons, counting 48 episodes all together. The first and the last season counted 13 episodes each and season 2 counted 22. There's actually no reason why Lie To Me never continued after season 3, despite the fact that additional episodes for season 3 and a whole fourth season were promised to the audience. On may 7th of 2011 it was announced by FOX that all these were cancelled. (What a shame!)

Why it should've continued:

The story of Lie To Me ended with S3E13, Killer App. Showing the case of 3 young billionaires that invented a very popular app. The Lightman Group gets called in when the only female app-creator (and good friend of Gillian) is found stabbed to death by Gillian Foster. At the end of the episode Cal Lightman finally admits to his teen daughter Emily that he's in love with Gillian and that's how it all ends. Do you need any more reason why it should've continued? The story wasn't finished AT ALL. And that's a shame, because it could've gotten alot better. Also, the last episode doesn't give closure of any sort for the audience. Lie To Me really ends right in the middle of the story.

Dracula:

Dracula
Dracula

What did you just say?

[Dracula](series:755201) was a British-American 2013 series that only counted one season with just 10 episodes. It tells the story of popular vampire count Dracula who was raised from the grave by Van Helsing to seek vengeance on The Order Of The Dragon for killing both their family's. Dracula adapts to the British life and introduces himself as rich bussinesman Alexander Grayson. He falls madly in love with Mina Murray, who is an exact copy of his dead wife. While he climbs the social ladder, the Order is busy finding the new mastervampire that lives in London. The series is an exhilirating story of strategy, tact and science combined with the immortal legend of Count Dracula.

Why was it cancelled?

Same case as with Lie To Me, no apperent reason was given by NBC as to why the second season was cancelled. NBC had ordered 10 episodes of the series and then just seemed to have quit it, but there's a huge plus here, because rumor has it that Netflix has picked up the series and would be making a second season as a Netflix original series. (FINGERS CROSSED)

Why it should've continued:

Dracula's story was far from told. He didn't even have his proper revenge on the Order yet, which is the whole point of the series (that and winning Mina's heart). But neither of those goals were reached! The season ends with Grayson taking Mina home and apperently sleeping with her and Harker, Mina's fiancé, finding out about Grayson's real identity because Van Helsing told him. Dracula has plenty of reasons to continue!

Well, it's a short article really, these are the two series I feel the saddest about not continuing, I do hope Netflix is going to continue Dracula! Do you have any series that you think that should be on this list? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS!!
