With [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) still being a pretty long way from our screens, it's not too surprising that we're aching for a full, close-up, detailed look at what we can expect to see but has Superman lost the one thing that has made him unique?

With 2013 marking 75 years of the big blue boy scout and the return of Superman to the big screen, and Dc choice to reboot the whole universe with (2012) New 52, Superman has not only gained new powers but has lost one of the the most essential thing ever being the last survivor of the planet Krypton.Don't get me wrong Super-Girl and Super-boy are my favorite Characters but the one thing that made Superman the ultimate outcast was the simple fact he was the last of a dying species and a soul survivor of the planet krypton.

With 75 years of comic book history many will say Steven they have touched upon Superman being the last survivor of krypton. But in today new comic book age I would say it less about Superman and more about the b-list side character to the [Man of Steel](movie:15593) (strictly opinion) the New Super-Girl TV show that in development will probably heavily focus on Super-Girl and how she feel sideline because of Heroic Super-Cousin. Superman has many adventures over his 75 years and as fan the thing that draws me as reader to question is if Jor- El was the only one to know about Krypton impending doom and warn the council how did the other survivors know. We know with the 75 plus years of Superman history and alternate realities Krypton destruction occurred thousand of times with different outcomes.

For Example the Bottle City of Kandor which is a whole another post for another day.

From the Superman TV shows to movies Krypton destruction has always been a quick its like Jor- El warns the council and then he launches the ship and then BOOM KRYPTON DESTROYED. in the 1978 Superman movie Jor-El states that Krypton has at least less than 24 hours before implosion less than 24 hours and I don't know if that's enough to launch or build those many rockets. But I believe this is what defined the character and made him special so that when Superman did have a Super-Family it made since to teach and have him be the Super Father Figure

This is my first post on MOVIEPILOT AND I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR FEEDBACK I WILL BE MORE ARTICLES SOON AND I HOPE YOU GUYS REALLY ENJOY THERE MORE STUFF ON THE WAY.
