Rockstar and Bethesda. These two studios are continuing to hide what they may have in store for gamers in 2015. Could Rockstar be showing us something like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Manhunt 3, will Bethesda finally be granting us Fallout 4 or shall we see a new Elder Scrolls game?

Some would say that the most exciting games to come this year are those we know nothing about. But is it likely that Rockstar could unveil something like Red Dead Redemption 2 or bring back the long missing and controversial Manhunt series with a 2015 release date for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC? Which title would you like to see first?

Red Dead Redemption 2 & Manhunt 3

Red Dead Redemption continues to stand out in the industry as one of the greatest games of our generation. The title took me completely by surprise and remains one of the only games that I read nothing about beforehand and just preordered it. Now we've all become so skeptical of developers and publishers hyping up their titles that we've become very conservative with our cash. Only handing a full $60 out to games that get reviews of 8 or higher on release date.

But the extraordinary thing about Rockstar, is that we know that once we preorder one of their games, it will deliver on its release date. Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire, there wasn't a moment in these titles I didn't enjoy and I wonder whether Rockstar may actually attempt to create yet another new IP rather than returning to these franchises.

But when it comes to Manhunt though, it's a bit of a risk for Rockstar. I live in Berlin, Germany in a country where Manhunt and Manhunt 2 is completely and utterly banned. I can't buy it, sell it or download it and I've never actually played either of these seemingly vicious titles. But due to the intense controversy and violence that these games are associated with, I can't see it doing well in the modern gaming industry.

It would be attacked on every continent, their would be countless controversies about whether games like this should be allowed anymore and I'm curious as to whether there is an existing fanbase out their for the proposed title of Manhunt 3? Would you guys like to see an updated version of these games?

Now with such incredible graphics in the industry, it would perhaps be far too much to see the kind of violence exhibited in Manhunt and Manhunt 2 on the PS4 and Xbox One. But then look at the controversies surrounding Hatred on the PC and its dealings with Steam. Freedom of speech within an art form should be appreciated and put into practice, regardless of whether that means we get more violent content or not.

I think it would be fascinating to see how Rockstar would handle Manhunt 3, and whether they would be as violent and apathetic to their human victims as they were in the past. Personally, I'm still voting for Red Dead Redemption 2 as the series would make an absolute killing for 2K and they surely won't let Rockstar ignore that fact for much longer. But what about you Rockstar fans?
