Thanks to the efforts of Dr. Wells and Cisco, Martin Stein and Ronnie Raymond were able to successfully defuse and become separate individuals once again. Tension rose quickly as Martin and Ronnie argued as to how their fusion should have been handled, with the main concern as to who should have been in control of their Firestorm body.

Despite their rivalry, they were both glad that they were defused because they now had the opportunity to live their lives separately. While the separation called for celebration, it was cut short thanks to the meddling of General Eiling. Eiling captured Martin (with the help of Wells), and attempted to harness the power of 'Firestorm', with the intention of using it to enhance the soldiers of the United States army. Luckily, with the help of Barry, Ronnie was able to fuse once again with Martin, and together, they were able to put a stop to Eiling's plan.

With the possibility of Eiling infiltrating S.T.A.R. Labs again, the Firestorm duo decide to leave Central City. The two fused into Firestorm flying off towards Pittsburg, where they believe a colleague of Martin's may help them learn more about their abilities. But is it possible that Firestorm may make a quick pitstop at another city?

Firestorm actor, Robbie Amell posted this image onto Instagram, which shows him in his Firestorm attire, next to his cousin, Arrow star Stephen Amell. Is this photograph a possible indication that Firestorm may appear on Arrow? If so, what could warrant his appearance, and how will his visit impact Arrow?

The Flash returns with all new episodes on March 17, 2015 and Arrow airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
