McFarland, USA a story of a football coach that ends up moving to a small town in California after losing his job at a previous high school, ends up at McFarland High school that's majority Mexican American populated, decides to transforms a team of athletes into championship contenders in cross country running.

An uplifting and inspirational film based on a true story of Jim White, played by Kevin Costner, who goes from being a man who doesn't want to partake in the life he had to settled into, in McFarland, to then becoming a inspiral motivator to a group high school boys.

The film manages to avoid using the over the top obvious sport movie cliches when it comes to telling the story, that we always expects from movie of this nature. It also does a wonderful job at being respectful to the Mexican culture by not overly highlighting any obvious stereotypes and when its done, it's tastefully done.

A movie the whole family will enjoy, with many laughs to have. McFarland, USA is most definitely the type of movie that'll you'll walk out of the theater with a smile on your face.

McFarland, USA in theaters February 20th, 2015.
