Movie industry veteran Daniele Auber launches a Kickstarter campaign to fund Hallucinaut, an epic film of microscopic magnitude.
Though Kickstarter, Daniele's aims to raise $50,000 for a visual effects heavy fantasy film that largely takes place on palm of the protagonist's hand.
“Hallucinaut was in my mind for almost thirty years,” Auber explains. “Now with Kickstarter and new special effects technology, it’s finally possible to make the project happen.”
Daniele’s project is supported by Monty Python co-creator Terry Gilliam, Academy Award winning VFX supervisor Nick Brooks (The Matrix, Lucy, Blade II), cinematographer Nicola Pecorini (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Doctor Parnassus), and SFX supervisor Stevie Bettles (Ster Trek Defiance, The Avengers).
Backers of the campaign will receive exclusive perks, from signed Terry Gilliam memorabilia to 3D prints, kaleidoscope glasses and custom tattoos.
