I know what you're thinking, here I go; ranting about the same old, same old. It should be this way or it should be that way.
Hey, if I got ideas, I'm going to share them and not steer away to the route of, "what if". So here goes more of them, this time with, The Green Lantern.
Now I wasn't really big on him when I was younger. I was like, a guy has a ring for super powers? Big whoop! It seem so whatever and mundane.
But I got older and realize there were more rings.
"Oh my gosh? More rings! Oh boy, it's like Captain Planet and the Planeteers."
Yup, and I am not talking about the yellow one either.
Either that or he stepped in dog poo.
Moving on: There is quite a number of them. 9 to be exact. But I won't mention all of them due to most were used in the most recent Green Lantern which was sadly cancel way too soon.
Red is fueled by rage, anger, and kill. Stuff like that and they serve pretty much as anti-heroes. There is even a cat. That's right, a cat by the name of, Dex-Starr has a ring! Sure, 28 Days Later inspired this move, (check out the movie by the way) and their weakness is the blue ring.
With blood and rage of crimson red,
Ripped from a corpse so freshly dead,
Together with our hellish hate,
We'll burn you all--That is your fate!
I'll be mentioning two of which weren't in the cartoon sadly and those were the White and Black .
The Blackest Night falls from the skies,
The darkness grows as all light dies,
We crave your hearts and your demise,
By my black hand, the dead shall rise!
And that there is the Black Lantern oath. This group is mostly about zombies, walking dead people, commanding one's soul. Stuff like that. Sounds cool, doesn't it? Well, if you're into zombies and stuff like that.
And of course this leaves me with the White Lantern:
In Brightest Day, In Brightest Night, Let My Ring Shine The Brightest Light,
When Evil Comes, I Will Join The Fight,
The Power of The White Lanterns is The Strongest Might!
I am pretty sure this ring has the power of them put together. I could be wrong. Somehow Green Lantern gains the all powerful ring to take down the baddies to save the galaxy.
Anywho, you could put Star Sapphire, (whom already had a cameo in, Man of Steel) to tie in, Batman V Superman, right?
But those are my ideas, yet again DC Comics films can do right, ( I hope).
