There is some debate among The Walking Dead crowd about which medium best presents the ruthless walker-filled story of survival: the television series, or the original comic-book. But now, thanks to the fan art of Kirk Manley, you can get the best of both world.

GeekTyrant recently uncovered a treasure trove of The Walking Dead Season 5 fan art which combines the characters and stories of the television series, with a visual style reminiscent of the show's graphic novel origins - with the emphasis rather heavily on 'graphic'.

Since the fan art does dwell rather heavily on the events of season 5, beware of spoilers if you haven't been keeping up-to-date with the series.

If you want to check out more of Manley's work, make sure to head over to his deviantart page and/or follow him on Twitter.

In the meantime, keep turning into The Walking Dead on Sunday at 9pm.
