The news last week that Marvel and Sony decided to team up with Spider-Man was astounding, and this time they need to get it right! (Bear in mind this is my first time writing so cut me some slack please). In my opinion, this is how the first Spidey reboot should start. We all know that he will first be appearing in the new Captain America: Civil War movie so he should have a good chunk of screen time. The most asked question so far is, "Will the man under the mask be Miles Morales, or Peter Parker?"
I don't think that it should be Miles Morales yet. I mean, in the Ultimate Spider-Man series Miles says that Spidey was killed in the past while he already had his spider powers. This is the way I think that they should go: Have Peter first, what's the big deal about it? I mean, if he is such a popular character then shouldn't you wait for his timeline to fit? Why fix what is not broken? And you people who think it's "racist" to want Peter instead of Miles are pathetic and just not thinking clearly. Maybe some people have said some racist stuff but come on guys, we can compromise and share, right?
Who should portray Spidey?
Now the Villain that I think should be in the new Spider-Man reboot is Mysterio. He is a character that has not been introduced into the Sam Rami or Marc Webb version of Spider-Man. There have been countless more villains that have not been introduced but the fact of the matter is phase 3 is going to be "mysterious" with the Infinity War, Thor: Ragnarok, and Captain America: Civil War coming, and finally Doctor Strange! This could be an opportune moment for Marvel to introduce Doctor Strange himself. Spidey could face the shocker or some villain who's powerful but not over powered since it's the intro and they don't want another origin story. Then SHIELD could come in and talk to him about his role in the New Avengers, and possibly have him lead the team himself. He is a strong character and deserves his spotlight. Spidey says he will consider this, cracks a joke at Nick Fury who is most definitely not amused, and leaps off the Helicarrier or whatever they are in nowadays. Then later in the movie Spidey faces Mysterio and gets the snot beaten out of him. He goes to Nick Fury for help, who says he knows an expert in this kind of work. Thus, Spidey meets Doctor Strange who gives him a little advice and sends him on his way.
Who should be the main Villain?
Let's face it, Spidey gets the babes; the most beautiful women in New York are at the tips of his fingers. Honestly, who wouldn't want to date a genius superhero? I personally think they should start off with Mary, Jane his go to girl who turns into something more. She should start off as a friend when Flash gets him down or someone to go to in times of sorrow (Uncle Ben), and it eventually begins to get intimate. The introduce Black Cat in a subtle way like on the cover of the Daily Bugle or something with the cover saying something like "Black Cat Burglary" and Peter meets Felicia! Then Gwen will be in the next movie as his new lab partner or something. But none of them know that he is Spider-Man, except Felicia to make it interesting. He does happen to have a lot of other girlfriends but these are the best of them.
