So now we know that E3 will feature Bethesda's very own conference in 2015, and it honestly can't come fast enough. With the developer/publisher realising that they have enough to fill two hours, the entirety of the gaming world is ridiculously excited to see what they have in store for us.
Naturally, rather than assuming we'll see a new entry into the Elder Scrolls series, Fallout fans believe that it's finally going to be the time that we see Fallout 4 . But could Bethesda let us down at E3, could the only franchise we see get its fourth instalment be Doom ? And what on earth would happen at that conference if Fallout 4 was nowhere in sight?
Fallout 4 & Doom at E3
Obviously the ideal situation is that we get to see both Doom get a release date and Fallout 4 at E3, but it's most certainly guaranteed that Doom will be visible at E3. But whether that means gameplay or another trailer is still unknown. I can't imagine not getting to see any gameplay of the upcoming fourth instalment in the Doom franchise, fans of the series have been waiting so long for this title, even longer than Fallout 4's wait.
But it must be said, if Fallout 4 arrives at E3, it will most certainly be placed at the conclusion of the conference in some manner, unless the game is coming out this year and we see a lot of footage (however unlikely that may seem). But one Fallout fan made a rather crude and primitive video that could show what we're in for at E3. But Bethesda aren't this cruel...are they? Can you imagine the conference ending this way?
There's no way that we'd see a publisher attack their fan base in such a manner, but in all likelihood, Fallout 4 seems more present than ever. Though I do hope that the trailer they create for the game is a little bit more informative and enjoyable than the Doom trailer we got at E3 last year. I feel like Bethesda will be booed off the stage if Fallout 4 isn't on that screen...
There are plenty of speculations and rumours going around that the development of Doom isn't going so well, hence the secrecy. But Bethesda are famous for keeping their work under wraps, even though id Software may be developing the title. Here's hoping it's as much fun as Wolfenstein: The New Order.
So what do you think Fallout fans? Is this the year that we finally get to see Bethesda announce Fallout 4? Or is E3 Doom's time to shine as Bethesda announce some new IPs and maybe even a new engine! Be sure to let us know in the comments. Doom is scheduled for a 2015 release date on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
