It's only February, but this year has been a big one for our girl Kristen Stewart. Not only was she seen in January stepping out with her rumored girlfriend Alicia Cargile looking happier than ever, but now her professional life is catching up in an equally huge way.
Stewart has always been big in American cinema, but her critical acclaim has officially jumped the pond as she became the first American actress in history to win France's most coveted film award, a César.
Her big supporting-actress win for her role in the film Cloud of Sils Maria, alongside Juliette Binoche and Chloë Grace Moretz, in which she plays Binoche's dedicated personal assistant.
She looked gorgeous beaming on the red carpet and as she accepted her award.
Sweet K-Stew was so nervous that she had to ask the presenter, Joey Starr, to set the award down because her hands were shaking too hard.
While it may have seemed strange in the moment, it makes complete sense given her past experience of accepting and dropping awards.
It happens to the best of us.
According to Vanity Fair, Stewart told reporters after the ceremony:
The reasons why people make films here in France are very different from the reasons why people make movies in Hollywood and I prefer it here a little bit.
It seems like Stewart is really coming into her own in a big way, and we couldn't be happier for the young actress.
